The BLM (Bureau of Land Management) allows dispersed RV
camping (boondocking) north of Susanville. Great area located
on Eagle Lake. Click on the maps for driving directions and
more official information.
The BLM's official directions...From Susanville travel
north on Highway 139 for 30 miles. Turn west (left) on County Road A-1
and travel approximately 5 miles. Turn south (left) on Lakeside drive
in the Bucks Bay subdivision. Travel south to the Rocky Point access
road. Watch for signs to Rocky Point. Follow the unimproved dirt road
south along the shoreline until you reach the campground area.
