Of Arizona (KOFA) NWR
Location
This map shows the approximate location of
the KOFA (King of Arizona) National Wildlife Refuge.
Dispersed RV camping (boondocking) is allowed inside the NWR
boundary with a limited stay of 14 days per year. Click on the map for
the official KOFA National Wildlife Refuge web page.
Free RV Camping Area - KOFA National Wildlife
Refuge
RV camping is permitted withing the boundary
of the KOFA NWR (National Wildlife Refuge). Dispersed RV
camping (boondocking) is allowed throughout the refuge, but only a few
roads are suitable for most recreational vehicles. The
information kiosk has camping rules and is located just inside the
boundary of the refuge. The blue line depicts the NWR
boundary. BLM (Bureau of Land Management) lands surrounding
the NWR also offer dispersed campsites, but some areas are
restricted. The restricted areas are well signed to let you
know where not to camp. Click on either map below to go to the official

KOFA NWR Administered
Lands
This green shaded area depicts the KOFA NWR
(National Wildlife Refuge). The purple shaded areas are BLM
(Bureau of Land Management) administered lands. Some of these
areas have restricted camping, but are well marked so you won't get
into a closed area. The restricted areas are primarily on the
west side of the refuge and close to highway 95. The blue
shaded are is the Yuma Proving Ground, and is restricted from public
