including trails, back country roads, lakes and streams, boat ramps,
forests, wetlands, campgrounds, public lands, and hunting and fishing
locations. Information about family trips,

North
Dakota Free Camping
Free RV camping
in
North Dakota is available almost everywhere with a little searching.
The North Dakota State Government web site has links to over 400
campgrounds both public and private. Many town parks that are
listed on the state web site are free, but the web site doesn't provide
that information. The good news at least is that the web site
does provide an email address and a phone number for information.
To get to the North
Dakota RV camping directory...
- Visit the North Dakota
state web site.
- Click on the
"Tourist Info" tab on the left side of web page.
- Click on the
"Campground/Lodging Search" tab in the center of the web page
- Click on "Search"
- You will be
presented a search box asking you to narrow your search. We
recommend searching for campgrounds under the "Type" tab of the search
box.
The list shows
the
name of the campground and what town it is in along with a contact
phone number. By clicking on the campground name, you will
get further information about amenities available. Free dispersed camping
is available on BLM and Forest Service managed lands. Click
on the links above for official information. |
