Typical Travel Trailer

Recreational Vehicle Types - Travel Trailer

There's room for the whole family in many Travel Trailers providing you have a suitable towing vehicle. From small to huge, if you have an adequate tow vehicle, a travel trailer is an excellent RV rental type. Some of this type RV are used for temporary housing during emergencies and movie making.

Travel Trailer - You Need A Tow Vehicle

RVRA (Recreational Vehicle Rental Association) defines a Travel Trailer as:

Travel Trailer - Not practical for overseas guests, or Americans who fly to a pick-up point, since they require a heavy- duty vehicle to pull them. Towable units, 13 to 33 feet in length, have full living facilities, but it's illegal to use them while underway. Best when parked at a campground for extended periods, while you use the towing vehicle for local transportation and sightseeing. Check with your rental dealer to make sure your tow vehicle, hitch and wiring are adequate.

The pictured compact travel trailer expands with beds on both ends! Features include...roof air, awing, gas/electric refrigerator, cd player, outside shower, microwave and three burner range with oven. The unit pictured weighs around 3400 pounds for easy towing. Smaller travel trailers will weigh less, while some of the largest require very heavy duty towing rigs. Don't get overloaded!

These RV rental units are often used as temporary shelter during construction, extended hunting and camping trips, and vacation use when the destination includes an RV park. Spacious and convenient, Travel Trailers offer the RV renter great mobile living space.
