US Army Corps of Engineers (USACE) has several water containment projects that are great New York RV camping destinations. National Forest campgrounds feature rustic RV campsites, and both state and county parks offer both rustic and hookup RV camping sites. There are private RV parks located throughtout New York, and even New York City parks offer completely free camping by reservation on summer weekends.

    BREWERTON Brewerton New York RV Camping

  • RV camping is available at Oneida Shores Park. The family friendly campground, the closest to I-81 in the Northeast, is ideally suited to late spring, summer and early fall RV camping. Water and 30 amp electric RV campsites available.
  • LISLE Lisle New York RV Camping

  • RV camping with water and electric hookups is available at Broome counties Greenwood Park. The lake is stocked with trout for the fisherman, and there are activities for the whole family. A great New York RV camping destination.
  • NASSAU COUNTY Nassau County New York RV Camping
    RV camping is available at two Nassau County Parks.

  • Battle Row Campground. There are 64 campsites ranging in length from 40 to 45 feet, 52 equipped campsites equipped with water and electric RV hookups.
  • Nickerson Beach Campground. There are 74 campsites set up for RV camping.
  • SUFFOLK COUNTY Suffolk County New York RV Camping

  • RV camping is available at several Suffolk County Parks. Located on the east end of Long Island, these family campgrounds offer a wide range of activities including hiking, fishing, biking, playgrounds and more. Some campgrounds are limited to county residents only.
  • WEBSTER Webster New York RV Camping

  • Located along Lake Ontario, Monroe County offers the Webster Park Campground. This 550 acre park offers water and electric RV hookup campsites. 50 amp electric and RV dump station available.

  • The Catskill Region offers forested mountains; narrow, winding valleys; rushing streams and rivers. The 600,000 acres of the Catskill Park has several campgrounds ideal for RV camping.
  • HECTOR Hector New York RV Camping

  • The US Forest Service Blueberry Patch Campground is available for RV camping. Nine first come first serve campsites with fire pits and picnic tables. Suitable for small RVs only.

  • RIVERHEAD Riverhead New York RV Camping

  • Suffolk County offers the Indian Island Campground. Activities include hiking, picnicking, camping, fishing, an activity field, and a playground. A great New York RV camping destination.
  • SIDNEY Sidney New York RV Camping

  • RV camping is available at the USACE (US Army Corps of Engineers) East Sidney Lake. The town of Sidney maintains and operates the East Sidney Recreation Area. Beach, picnic area, playground, campground, and boat launch.
