Florida RV camping is great! From clean white sand beaches to the Everglades, we will help you find the best RV camping sites in Florida. RV parks are located near Florida's favorite tourist attractions, and State Parks and Forests have developed campgrounds for RV camping. The US Army Corps of Engineers has fresh water based recreation areas that are great Florida RV camping destinations, and for a more remote experience, don't forget about USDA National Forest lands available with developed and primitive campsites.

ALTOONA
The USDA Ocala National Forest offers free dispersed RV camping (boondocking) at several different designated camping areas. Developed campgrounds are also available with basic facilities.
EUREKA
East of Eureka in the USDA Ocala National Forest, free dispersed RV camping (boondocking) is allowed at the Grassy Pond Recreation Area.
KENANSVILLE
There are 3 designated areas suitable for RV camping located on the Three Lakes WMA (Wildlife Management Area). Fishing, hiking, biking, wildlife viewing, RV camping and more.
NAPLES
Free primitive RV camping is permitted in Big Cypress National Preserve. Several designated no facility campgrounds are open all year, while other campgrounds have limited dates of operation.
OKEELANTA
If weekend camping fits your lifestyle, the Holey Land WMA (Wildlife Management Area) offers free dispersed Florida RV camping (boondocking) only on Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays.
OLUSTEE
RV camping is allowed at several "Hunt Camps" in the USDA Osceola National Forest. These designated primitive camping areas are open year round and are great Florida RV camping locations for those looking to get away from it all.
PITTMAN
RV camping is permitted at the Baptist Lake designated primitive campground near Pittman. This remote camping site has no facilities, but offers numerous outdoor recreation opportunities.
The following list shows only a few examples of Florida RV camping sites in public campgrounds. Public campgrounds offer amenities from full RV hookup campgrounds, to primitive no facility RV camping sites.
ALTOONA
RV camping is permitted at the USDA Alexander Springs Recreation Area located a few miles Northeast of Altoona. This campground offers water, RV dump station, boating swimming, fishing, scuba diving, hiking and more.
BUNNELL
Bull Creek Campground offers two lakes over 16,000 acres with campsite boat docking. 25 RV sites – 30' x 40' concrete pads with full hook-ups, 30/50 amp service, picnic tables at every site and baitshop and restaurant.

CHIEFLAND
The Manatee Springs State Park has just about every outdoor recreation activity you can think of. The parks campground has 92 campsites with water and electric hookups. Fishing, hiking, wildlife viewing, biking, scuba, and more.
CHIPLEY
Huge trees, deep sinkholes, and Florida's highest waterfall await you at Falling Waters State Park. 24 campsites with water and electric, and an RV dump station is available.
CLEWISTON
USACE/COE (US Army Corps of Engineers) manages Lake Okeechobee and the Okeechobee Waterway. RV camping is permitted at several campgrounds. Developed campgrounds overview in the area.
EVERGLADES NATIONAL PARK
Two campgrounds suitable for RV camping are located in the park. The park features endangered species, the nations largest subtropical wilderness, and offers numerous outdoor recreation opportunities.
Located in extreme Northeastern Florida, RV camping is available at Fort Clinch State Park. Over 60 full hookup campsites in two campgrounds. The park offers beaches, bicycling, fishing, hiking and more.
HIGH SPRINGS
Miles of hiking trails, and good fishing are only 2 reasons to head for O'Leno State Park on your RV camping trip. 61 campsites with water and electric RV hookups, grill, picnic table, and more.
HOLT
30 water and electric campsites are available at Blackwater River State Park. This area is a favorite for kayaks, and wildlife viewing is excellent.
LITHIA
Great Flroida RV camping is available at the Alafia River State Park. Located in a reclaimed quarry, this interesting state park offers Florida's most extreme off road bicycle area. Camping facilities at this 30-site campground include water, 50 amp RV electrical hookups, RV dump station, and restroom facilities with showers.
OLUSTEE
67 campsites, many located on the water, are available for RV camping at the Ocean Pond Campground located in the USDA Osceola National Forest. Drinking water, RV dump, and even showers are available.
ORTONA
RV camping is available at Ortona South Campground. Fishing piers, RV sites with electric & water hookups, trailer dump station, showers & restrooms, and even clothes washers & dryers.
PANAMA CITY
White sand beaches and 176 campsites are available at St. Andrews State Park. Water and electric RV hookups are available by reservation at this popular park.
PENSACOLA
Located on the Gulf of Mexico in the western "Panhandle" of Florida, RV camping is permitted at the Big Lagoon State Recreation Area. Boating, swimming, fishing, hiking, and more are available at this coastal park.
SOPCHOPPY
Myron B. Hodge City Park Campground has water, electric, RV dump. boat ramp, fishing, fire rings, grills, and toilets. 26 RV camping sites as well as primitive campsites available.
ST AUGUSTINE
RV Camping, swimming, fishing, picnicking, hiking, wildlife viewing, boating, and more await you at Anastasia State Park. There are 139 campsites for RV and tent camping. Easy walking distance to the beach.
SUMATRA
The USDA Apalatchacola National Forest offers developed campgrounds great for RV camping. The Wright Lake Campground has 20 campsites with picnic table, grill, and a fire ring. Drinking water is available. Flush toilets and hot showers. An RV dump station is available.
VILAS
Located in the Florida panhandle, numerous RV camping sites can be found in the USDA National Forest near Vilas. The Camel Lake Campground offers 10 campsites with picnic tables, fire rings, and water.
National Park Service (NPS)
General information about RV camping in US National Parks. With campgrounds in the most historic and scenic places in the country, the NPS offers some of the best places for RV camping.
US Army Corp of Engineers (USACE/COE )
USACE (perhaps better know as COE) manages water recreation areas throughout the USA. Information about finding Corps managed lakes, RV camping rules and policies for use of these water based recreation areas is included.
