Free RV Camping Location

RV camping is allowed extensively in the Bureau of Land Management (BLM) Alabama Hills Recreation Area just 3 miles west of Lone Pine. This area has seen the making of hundreds of television shows and movies. The Lone Ranger, The Long Long Trailer, How The West Was Won and Romancing The Stone all have been partially or fully filmed in this area. BLM Administered Lands
