Public Massachusetts RV Camping Locations
The following are only a few examples of the many great Massachusetts RV camping locations available.
BALDWINVILLE
Otter River State Forest is located in north central Massachusetts. There are 85 campsites, swimming beach, picnic area and even a ball field. Other activities include fishing, mountain biking, and hiking.
CLARKSBURG
Clarksburg State Park has a 44 site campground located on 368 acres. Activities include non-motorized boating, canoeing, fishing, hiking, and biking.
GRANVILLE
Granville State Forest offers a small campground with no hookups. Activities include fishing, hiking, mountain biking, and walking trails.
HINGHAM
Wompatuck State Park is just a short drive from downtown Boston, and offers 262 wooded campsites of which 140 have electricity. Miles of hiking paths, paved bicycle trails, and fishing are just some of the activities available.
HUNTINGTON
Littleville Lake is managed by the US Army Corps of Engineers (USACE) and offers three camping areas.
SALISBURY
One of Massachusetts most popular ocean beachs is located in Salisbury Beach State Reservation. There is a 484 site campground, bathhouses, playground and boat ramps.
SANDWICH
Very popular with trailer campers, Scusset Beach State Reservation offers a 98 site camping area. There are no RV dump facilities, water, or restrooms, and only self contained RV's are allowed.
South Carver
Myles Standish State Forest is the largest public recreation area in southeastern Massachusetts. The forest offers five camping areas along four of the forests 16 ponds. Swimming, fishing, canoeing, with hiking, biking, and horse trails as well.
WESTPORT POINT
Horseneck Beach State Reservation offers 100 campsites. Flush toilets, showers, water, picnic tables, fireplaces, and RV dump station available. There are no RV hookups.
